Today is my day off from running--I need it but I miss the endorphin high. It seems like I have not a truly enjoyable run in away--the runs I have been having feel good--but more like a task to be completed in my training program. I have felt slow and have needed to walk more than I want to--and don't even get me started on the treadmill. I need to reframe and fast. I want to run tomorrow with no agenda---just to run for FUN. I think my biggest hindrance is the same running route--I am grateful for a safe neighborhood to run in since the trails/paths have all been unrunable since Christmas--but enough already.
